I have been most satisfied as a customer to Chapel Hill Tire at Woodcroft. Ben, the manager, is conscientious and accommodating. Their valet service is a real bonus, and in fact, one of their drivers, Sam, is a super ambassador for the company. Sam is super friendly and makes you feel valued as a client of Chapel Hill Tire. He’s a great asset to the organization.

I’ve had work done at the Woodcroft Chapel Hill Tire for some years now. Generally, the work is good, the service is good, and they’re good at letting you know how various parts are aging. Today, I took my car in to have the AC checked out. My AC was repaired here around a year or so go, maybe longer, and they did good work as they always do. Today’s visit was also to replace a belt that needed replacing. I was given a quote for the cost of labor and the part prior to agreeing to the work. When I came to get it, the bill sounded a bit high for what I was told the cost of labor and parts would be. When I inquired about the cost, after services were rendered, I was told that I was charged an 40 or so dollars for a “shop supply fee”. I inquired about what goods and services are covered in that. I was told that helps the shop pay for paper towels, and disposal of fluids etc. This really didn’t feel reasonable to me, as I’ve replaced some belts in my time, and it really isn’t a job that requires extra disposable supplies, nor does it require the disposal of engine fluids. I was further told this cost was based on a percent of the total bill, so parts costs somehow has baring on what s

The service I received was truly exceptional. From my initial call regarding the tire estimate, to the detailed explanation of financing options for my previous purchase, and the warm greeting upon my arrival, the experience was outstanding. Throughout the service, I was provided with videos and pictures that clearly illustrated the work being done. Even when additional work was identified, they assisted me in prioritizing the repairs to align with my budget and ensure the best care for my vehicle. My car was ready precisely at the estimated time. Upon my return in the afternoon to collect my car, I was met with the same remarkable customer service, even though different staff members were present. Their level of respect and attentiveness was consistently high. I would wholeheartedly recommend their services to anyone and plan to return for future needs.

Amazing service. No high pressure sales, no gimmicks. Got a flat tire and had my car towed there for service based on the great reviews. They were incredible. They even sent someone to pick up the right tire for my vehicle and I was still out the door in under an hour from when the tow truck dropped it off. I don’t even live in Durham and I will drive back there to give them my business!

Needed an oil change and tire rotation, they were able to get me in, which I appreciate. However, after giving me a $20 off coupon, I still paid $109 for an oil change and tire rotation!!! My car is not a diesel, just a normal car, so that price is outrageous. This was my 6th or 7th one on this car, have and have always paid $65-70 and at a franchise auto dealership! Glad I don’t have to see these guys often. The people working were very nice and service was quick. This 3 stars rating is for the price of services
